If it was Clash of Clans or something like that, I could agree with you, but the need to be online to play hours of Dota 2 for example doesn't change much when it comes to enjoying a great game for free. 'Misleading' was indeed too much, but, even if it's a matter of opinion, I'm really far from being the only one to differentiate 'free games' and 'free-to-play games'. Most free-to-play titles have limited gameplay and/or slow progression, and are filled with in-game purchases.
Of course you can play them for many hours without spending a cent, but the concept at its basis is very different and has an influence on the gameplay. That said, I can understand those games being on this list, it was just not what I expected when I saw the title. Some RPG reviews would be cool including the Infinity Engine remakes, especially the most recent one Icewind Dale. Divinity Original Sin also comes to mind. When they release, Torment and Pillars of Eternity. Maybe an interview with Beamdog to see if you can get something out of them about what is coming next, hopefully the original Planescape Torment or Icewind Dale II.
I hope they do both in time. Blackguards II, Wasteland 2 would be good to review. Avernum 2 is another one and coverage of some of Jeff's other recent releases would be cool or perhaps an article that covers the History and releases of Spiderweb software. Lords of Xulima looks interesting. Van Helsing II is another one that looks fun as does its predecessor. There has been a lot of really great releases for RPG fans on the Mac and some coverage of them would be welcome.
Other games of interest would include the most recent King's Bounty game, the Mount and Blade Warband port as well as the recent expansion for it, Dominions 4, Age of Wonders III when the Mac version now in testing is released are others I'd like to read about from the Mac gamer's perspective. I could go on but that's a heck of a lot right there for openers.
